thinkbabynames.com tell me it means noble, exalted nature. How about that, huh? Not much of a surprise ;)
The origin it English, a norman french diminuative for Alice, and it may have originated as a surname meaning 'Alice's Son' (but that clearly doesn't apply to me...

What is your earliest childhood memory?
There was a music box in my room when I was a kid, it was mahogany and played Beethoven, I remember the box and that tune before anything else. My father smashed it when he found me using it to practice my powers ten years later.
